In June 2018, I travelled to The Dominican Republic to tell the story of Erison, a young student who loves baseball and writing.
USAID and Major League Baseball (MLB) work through Baseball Cares to promote literacy and life skills to children in the Dominican Republic. Baseball players from the Dominican Republic, including recent MLB Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero, are helping inspire the students to stay in school and succeed in life.
